As you step through custom oversized metal and glass front doors, you’re welcomed into a foyer bathed in natural light, with views of the Texas Hill Country landscape framed by large windows. Above, a tray ceiling with inset tongue and groove white oak adds warmth and sophistication, while a striking Apparatus Lariat nine light custom fixture hangs overhead, setting the tone for what’s to come. The openness of the entryway provides a serene introduction, seamlessly leading into the grand living area.

The living room is designed for both relaxation and entertainment, with dark-stained exposed trusses leading the eye up to the impressive 25-ft ceilings. At the center, a meticulously crafted raked plaster fireplace stretches from floor to ceiling, finished off by a Calacatta Gold Marble slab frames the direct vent fireplace, framed by custom built-in cabinetry and floating wooden shelves on either side, creating a balanced, visually stunning space. Large sliding doors open onto the back patio and pool, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living.

In the kitchen, two islands—stained dark highlight the natural warmth of stain-grade white oak and walnut cabinetry—defining the space and drawing you in. Attention to detail is showcased in the flush mounted electrical outlets (can you find them?!) that blend into the Calacatta Gold Marble backsplash and extend up the walls from the countertops, framing a sculpted plaster curved vent hood, in Portola Paint, that serves as a focal point. A black metal and glass divider subtly separates the kitchen from the living area, creating an intimate feel within the open concept. The painted tongue and groove ceiling continues into the dining area, where a bold chandelier illuminates the space, complementing the exposed beams overhead.

Beyond the main living areas, the home offers two distinct office spaces. Her office features soft wallpaper, light wood built-ins with gold mesh accents, and a sculpted plaster light fixture, creating a serene space for focus and creativity. His office, with dark wood built-ins, offers a more grounded and classic workspace.

The media room, painted in a rich blue and equipped with high-end subwoofers, provides an immersive viewing experience. Nearby, the gym—complete with rubber flooring and a built-in sauna—features doors that open to a sun deck, perfect for early morning yoga sessions and outdoor exercises.

The Texas Hill Country Haven isn’t just beautiful—it’s sustainable, with functionality thoughtfully integrated throughout, such as a water bottle filler in the mudroom to reduce single-use plastic. Multiple water and energy sources are sustainably derived from a 30,000-gallon rainwater collection system, featuring a custom barrel accented with black bands, and discreet ground-mounted solar panels. For energy independence and resilience, the home includes its own well for fresh water, the option to use city water, and a Generac generator for backup power during emergencies. Certified by Energy Star and EPA Indoor airPLUS, the home is designed for energy efficiency without compromising luxury.
